The creative brief is expanded into scenes, shot requirements, references and effect dependencies so later systems understand the purpose of the footage they receive.
2. Structure becomes source material

3. Source material becomes an effect plan
NematiCut identifies what can remain from the original shot, what should be altered, which continuity targets apply and which specialized operations are required.
